Medium-Voltage Electrical Power Equipment Trading
About the Role:
The Electrical Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing sales of medium-voltage electrical
power equipment in the Egyptian market, in cooperation with international manufacturers from the
UAE and Turkey. The role combines technical support with commercial activities, client
management, and project-based sales.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive RFQs, technical specifications, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) from clients in
Egypt.
• Review client requirements and coordinate with manufacturers to obtain technical
compliance, pricing, and delivery information.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial offers to clients.
• Follow up with clients on submitted quotations until order award or closure.
• Act as the main point of contact between clients and manufacturers during the quotation
stage
.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Identify and approach new clients to expand the customer base.
• Support basic technical clarifications during the pre-award stage as required.
• Support after-sales activities, including technical assistance and basic troubleshooting
when required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 3 years Technical experience knowledge of power, earthing, current, and voltage transformers, and
disconnector switches
• Strong understanding of the Egyptian market and tendering procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to read and understand electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
